This all started with a drone, a bit of frustration, and a lot of passion. After spending my early days folding flashings and watching good mates take serious falls from rooftops, I knew something had to change. At first, the idea was to get boots off roofs completely—but reality taught us that’s not always possible. So instead, we built a platform that supports every kind of inspection, whether it’s taken by drone, phone, or anything in between. We’re here to give you tools that actually make your job easier—AI-powered reporting, flexible templates, and automation that saves time without sacrificing quality. Aris Detect was founded by a father, two sons, and one shared goal: make a real impact in the industry we grew up in. I’m Damon Smith (the handsome one on the right) & I know first-hand how old-school some parts of the roofing industry still are. We built this platform because we saw the cracks in the industry & how reports were being done: different formats, inconsistent quality, even within the same company. Our vision is to change that. We want to raise the standard across the board—giving you the tools to deliver professional, consistent reports every single time, using smart templates that fit your brand. But more than that, we want to help the roofing industry move with the times. AI and automation are racing ahead, and we don’t want our trade to be left behind.
